Soda shop (outfit #27)

Today was incredibly windy for a photo shoot.  I decided on a spot overlooking downtown, but when my husband snapped a couple of shots, the wind blew so hard that my skirt almost blew over my head! It was sort of Marilyn Monroe-esque, if Marilyn was on her way to Oz!  Luckily, we drove around a little and found a great spot that was mostly shielded from the weather.
My 1950s cropped tie blouse was purchased at the Denver Modernism Show.  My pink, embroidered, 50s circle skirt is made by Miss Marilyn of Dallas, and was scored at a thrift store.  My pink and white oxford saddle shoes are from ebay.

  1. What a beautiful outfit, Hannah. I love the fullness and sweetly feminine hue of the skirt, as well as that wall opted to pose in front of (it has a great mid-century feel to it).

Wishing you and your family a terrific weekend,
    ♥ Jessica
