Here is my little pumpkin in a 1950s Pla-Master western shirt, which I believe was part of a cowboy costume. I found this at an estate sale in my neighborhood. I don't know how child photographers do it?!? Ohlin is four, and hates to sit still and have his picture taken. When he wasn't giving me a cheesy fake smile, or crossing his eyes, he was pouting or covering his face. If anyone knows any great tips for photographing resistant kiddos, then please share the wealth...I'm dying over here! :)
Awwww, what an absolute little cutie pie! Love his new vintage shirt, he looks so darling in it.

Thanks! He has the sweetest, dimple filled smile, that helps him get away with being devious. ;)
DeleteYou managed to get some really cute pics! Maybe if you ask him to say something different and outrageous for every picture it'll get a laugh. Awesome shirt!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the trick was to ask him to name the pumpkins. He totally cracked himself up. :)
DeleteI set my camera on constant mode and just keep the button pressed. I end up having to delete a ton of pictures, but I usually end up with several good ones.
ReplyDeleteAnother trick I learned from a friend was to have the boys "fake laugh"...eventually it turns into real laughter, and you get some great shots of their real smiles instead of the cheesy posed smiles.
